Jamie and Alejandra “Ale” are one of those couples that are completely infatuated with each other and are happy just being together. After getting engaged in Rome, they knew a big traditional wedding was not their style. With their Hawaii vacation already booked, eloping in Maui felt like the best idea ever, so they contacted Fawn to plan their elopement in two weeks.
It was just the two of them, and they wanted their wedding day to be simple but beautiful. The focus was on creating a fun, memorable experience and gorgeous images that would last a lifetime. A huge piece of the puzzle was picking the right location. Ale and Jamie wanted a beach with lots of scenery that would add variety to their wedding photos. One of the options Fawn suggested was this amazing beach on Maui’s north shore. The crystal blue water contrasted by dark rocks and backed by palm trees and greenery immediately stood out to the couple. It actually involved a little farther drive than the other beach suggestions, but the distance away from hotels also meant the beach would be less crowded with other visitors.
There were no flowers or cake… just Jamie and Ale looking stunning, the picturesque setting, a musician to set the mood, and the officiant to seal the deal. The wedding rings weren’t ready on time, so Fawn brought some twine and these two literally tied the knot. Ale and Jamie laughed, kissed, and cuddled away while photographer Angie Diaz captured it all. The day was perfect and everything they wanted and we were so thrilled to make their dreams come true.
